"Connections for Life" is more than a slogan or catchy phrase. It is a belief that God designed us for relationship with Himself. Because of sin, we are separated from Him. As a consequence, our hearts are hopelessly disconnected from our Creator, leaving us empty and searching for fulfillment and truth.

Two thousand years ago, Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came to us with a new message: God loves us unconditionally; He wants to provide a way for us to have a renewed relationship with Him; and He wants to provide us with amazing opportunities for new life, new purpose, and new hope.

The reality of this message is for us "today." We do not have to wait until we die or until we "have it all together" to experience God's genuine involvement in our lives. He has given us His Holy Spirit, His Word, and His Body to help us grow in our understanding of Him and how His unconditional love can change us.

As a church, we desire to help you connect with God, with His purpose for your life, and with other people so that you can fully know and experience the life that He has for you!

Connecting with Purpose
Purpose is the internal fuel that drives us. Without purpose, we lose our reason, our direction, and our hope. All of us want to find our purpose, but few of us discover a purpose that lives up to our expectations or desires. At Bridgeway, we are convinced that we need to reconnect with our eternal purpose: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, strength, and mind, and love your neighbor as yourself" (Matthew 22:36–40). But living out that purpose can be a challenge in our busy, disconnected culture.

Bridgeway is committed to seeing each individual come to know and understand God's purpose. When we are fulfilling our purpose, we are fulfilled to our very souls and are energized to live the life we have been called to live. When we live that life, people's lives are touched and changed because of the grace, truth, and love of Jesus Christ that is alive in us.

Connecting with God
All of us long to be known, loved and accepted. We are often surprised by the depth and consistency of our own aloneness. And this despite our busy lives and distracted minds. So many times when we are painfully aware of our loneliness, we attempt to fill it with goals, jobs, vacations, and addictions. Yet despite these efforts we are still aware of our incompleteness, our sin, and our weakness.

How easy it is to forget that God continually walks with us, waiting for us to reach for Him. The Psalms say that He created us in our innermost being, that He knit us together in our mother's womb. He knows how we are formed. He knows what we need. If ever there was a longing to be known, it is our God that can fulfill that longing. He intended us to have relationship with Him—there is no other relationship like that one.

In response to God's pursuit of us, we can grow closer to Him through studying the Bible, life-style worship, prayer, and genuine relationships with other people. Our small groups (Community Groups), Gathering Time, Children's Ministry, Youth Ministry, and Outreach Ministry have been formed with the intent of providing a safe place to experience God's Love as we interact with others and to discover the fulfillment that comes from knowing the God who created us.
